2025 LA Fire Relief Donations

All donations sent to Distantly Social Trivia will be donated to the Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. However, there are so many individuals impacted and different organizations and gofundmes for those in need. If there is a cause you would prefer to donate to, let us know so we can promote them as part of our game as well.

Over $17,000 raised through answering trivial questions!

Trivia is a game enjoyed in bars and restaurants, an industry that is hurting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Distantly Social strives to support small businesses and the hospitality community in two ways: by donating all funds raised through the public Thursday night games to organizations supporting the hospitality industry through the pandemic, and by awarding winners with gift cards to the local small businesses of their choice.

Organizations We Supported From 2020-2022

We also donated to pandemic relief projects through City Life Vida Urbana, the Diocese of Arlington - Rent and Utility Assistance Program, National Low Income Housing Coalition, modestneeds.org, hospitality workers through Virtual Tip Jar, and various small business gofundmes. Upon review, we’re narrowing in on our primary six organizations do we can make larger donations.

Additionally, in lieu of gift cards, some game winners have designated their winnings to specific charities/causes.
